Tiny chicks need a secure setup
Newly hatched Coturnix are incredibly small and can squeeze through gaps that would never be a problem for an adult bird.
A good brooder needs to be designed around the size and needs of a day-old quail chick, with safe drinking water, secure sides and somewhere to move away from the heat.
Heat is about more than a number
