Chicken eggs typically hatch at around Day 21, with lockdown beginning on Day 18.
Individual chicks may hatch a little earlier or later depending on incubation temperature, egg storage history and normal biological variation, so Day 21 should be treated as an expected hatch point rather than a strict deadline.
